What is the D_D Membership Grant Application?
The D_D Membership Grant Application is a process through which interested individuals can apply for membership to gain access to the Developer DAO community. Successful applicants who are accepted into the program will be granted 400 $CODE tokens and gain entry into the DAO.
What is Developer DAO?
Developer DAO (D_D) thrives as a global community where thousands of builders and creators work together to forge a better internet. Their mission involves expediting the education and influence of a new wave of developers armed with both blockchain development expertise and connections.
To become a member, you will need either a Devs 4 Revolution NFT or 400 $CODE tokens in your wallet. $CODE tokens can either be purchased or won as a non-member participating in D_D Hackathons. Members of Developer DAO get access to perks including a special Discord server reserved specifically for members. In addition, they also communicate to the public via Twitter and have a blog which is run by the D_D community.
Members of Developer DAO are located all across the globe, with many choosing to attend crypto-focused hackathons, conferences, and other events (ie: ETHGlobal hackathons and Ethereum Devcon).

- Wallet Connect so that accepted applicants receive 400 $CODE.
- Email address question to collect each applicant’s email address.
- Short text question to collect each applicant’s Twitter/X handle.
- Single select question to understand what type of contributor the applicant is.

In the above screenshot, Developer DAO customized their form using various DeForm features:
- Multiselect questions to find out each applicant’s area of interest and an optional multiselect for the applicant to select their pronoun(s).
- Long text question to ask each applicant about anything they may have built or worked on in the past.
- Short text question to inquire what motivates applicants to wake up every day.

- Single select question asking applicants if they can commit 30 minutes each week vibing with the D_D community.

- Twitter Connect to verify that the user is following the Developer DAO and devdaowomen Twitter accounts.
