When the applicant is accepted, the Subsquid team will follow up with more information to help onboard users as VIP Developers in the Subsquid Discord server.

How did Subsquid use DeForm to create their onboarding form?
Subsquid created their Infrastructure Onboarding form using various DeForm web3 form features.
In the screenshot below, you can see that the form was customized using the following features:
- Custom form icon image to reflect Subsquid logo and branding.
- Custom title and description so that users know the purpose of the form.
- Wallet connect question to verify ownership (this is free and will not trigger any gas fees!)
- Short text questions asking users for their name, Telegram handle or Discord handle, Github handle, whether you’ve previously built a squid, and how you found out about Subsquid.
- Email question to collect properly-formatted email addresses from users so that the Subsquid team can follow up on their request.
This Subsquid DeForm also uses conditional logic branching to give users the option to choose between Telegram or Discord in case they don’t have both accounts. This form also uses recaptcha to reduce bot activity on the form.
An interesting item to note is that not only does DeForm support web3 integrations like connect wallet, but also a lot of web2 integrations such as Twitter, Discord, and Telegram account OAuth flows. With a tool like this, growth and marketing leaders can create all kinds of customer or community profiles for segmentation, sales, and marketing purposes.
