What is Developer DAO?
Developer DAO (D_D) is a community of thousands of builders creating a better internet. The mission is to accelerate education and impact of a new wave of developers equipped with blockchain development skills and network. Developer DAO members hang out in Discord and communicate to the public via Twitter. Most members have a Devs 4 Revolution NFT or $CODE tokens.

How did DeForm create a web3 signup form for the challenge?
Developer DAO used DeForm to build a participation and signup form. The steps they used were to:
- Set up a cover page to summarize details of the event, including deadlines and prizes.
- Add identity verification questions like Connect Wallet, Twitter, and Discord Connect.
- Add various short text, url input, and single response questions.
By setting up these questions in a web3 hackathon application format, Developer DAO was able to gather hackathon attendee information with verified hacker data.
How did Developer DAO use DeForm to analyze blockchain data?
Developer DAO used DeForm to verify crypto wallet addresses upon form response submission, and additionally look up three pieces of onchain blockchain data for each Ethereum wallet:
- $CODE token ownership
- Ether native taken balance
- Devs 4 Revolution NFT
Because DeForm queries live data directly from the blockchain upon each form response, this web3 form automatically aggregates up to date crypto holdings and digital asset memberships, saving hackathon admins time and data processing energy.
